LUOFUCON® Silver PU Antibacterial Foam Dressing is a silver ion-containing Pu foam dressing with excellent antibacterial effect. It mainly consists of hydrophilic polyurethane foam substrate and silver compound. lt is indicated for the management of moderate or heavy exudate chronic and acute wounds owing to bacterial infection.

Sustained and Controlled Silver Release

The silver of the dressing is nesting in the PVA coating film in compound state, when the silver compound contacts the exudate, they will be ionized, thereby to kill bacteria.
The release of silver ions depends on the surface area of the wound, exudate concentration and temperature.

Efficient and Durable Antimicrobial

The product has excellent broad spectrum antibacterial effects to a variety of bacteria, laboratory tests show that the log reduction can reach at least 4 for six kinds of representative strains of bacteria.
Antibacterial effect can be last up to 7 days.

The product has higher liquid absorption amount compared to common silver ions dressing.
It can quickly absorb large amounts of exudate, to provide a good moist healing environment for wound.

Indications

LUOFUCON^® Silver PU Antibacterial Foam Dressing is indicated for exudate absorption and the management of partial to full thickness wounds, including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, second-degree burns, donor sites, post-operative wounds and skin abrasions.

Contraindications

Do not use LUOFUCON^® Silver PU Antibacterial Foam Dressing on patients with known sensitivity to silver.
