LUOFUCON^® Super Absorbent Dressing Border is a self-adhesive, absorbent wound dressing with a silicone wound contact layer, that helps maintain a moist environment on the wound surface. The Dressing absorbs and retains exudate and MMPs within the absorbent core, thereby reducing the risk of maceration, and promoting wound healing. The silicone wound contact layer facilitates the application of the dressing, and minimizes patient pain and trauma to the wound and surrounding skin when the dressing is removal. The breathable and waterproof polyurethane film provides a barrier against external contaminants.

High-quality materials and advanced sealing technology make the Super Absorbent Core not only have excellent absorption ability, but also have strong locking ability, firmly locking the wound exudate, avoiding leakage and reducing the risk of maceration, and maintaining the integrity of the product structure during use.

OptiSil

Self-developed silicone gel coating and perforation technology, which allows for easy application, removal and reapplication on the same area, can provides gentle care for fragile and sensitive skin.

Indications

LUOFUCON^® Super Absorbent Dressing Border is intended for used on moderate to heavily exuding wounds, such as:

● Leg ulcers
● Pressure ulcers
● Diabetic foot ulcers
● Surgical wounds

Contraindications

● Do not use this product on dry or low exuding wounds, eyes, mucous membranes or in wound cavities because the dressing swells during absorption.
● Do not use on third-degree burns.
● LUOFUCON^® Super Absorbent Dressing Border should not be used on persons with known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of its components.

Instructions for use

Dressing Selection and Application

1. Select a suitable dressing size to make sure the absorbent inner core overlaps the wound margins at least 1-2cm. Do not cut the white absorbent pad. The border can be cut to adapt the dressing to specific body areas. For difficult to dress anatomical locations, such as the sacrum, multisite or heel, the specifically shaped adhesive dressing may be used.

2. For dressings with three release films, remove the middle release film first. Apply the adherent side to the wound, allowing initial fixation of the dressing. For dressings with two release films, grip both overlapping release films, exposing adhesive surface allowing initial fixation of the dressing.

3. Remove the remaining release film(s) and smooth down the border on the skin. Do not stretch the dressing.

4. LUOFUCON^® Super absorbent dressing can be used both as a primary dressing or as a secondary dressing. When used as a primary dressing, LUOFUCON^® Super absorbent dressing must be in close contact with the wound bed to ensure wound fluid is absorbed.

5. The dressing can be used under compression bandaging.
