Indications for Use

LUOFUCON® Silicone Wound Contact Dressing is suitable for a wide range of wounds, including:

• Pressure ulcers
• Leg and foot ulcers
• Surgical wounds
• Traumatic wounds
• Donor sites
• Skin tears
• First and second-degree burns

Contraindication

Do not use if the patient is allergic to silicone gel.

How to Apply

1. Cleanse the wound as per standard protocol. Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly.
2. Choose the right size — the dressing should extend 1–2 cm beyond the wound edge (or 5 cm for larger sizes).
3. Remove the release liners and gently apply the adhesive side to the wound without stretching.
4. If multiple pieces are used, overlap them slightly, ensuring the mesh holes are not blocked.
5. Cover with a secondary absorbent dressing and secure in place.
6. Avoid contact with oxidizing agents like hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide.
