LUOFUCON® Silicone Wound Contact Dressing: A gentle yet effective choice for modern wound management
LUOFUCON® Silicone Wound Contact Dressing is a soft, open-mesh silicone layer designed to gently protect wounds while allowing exudate to pass through to a secondary dressing. Ideal for dry to heavily exuding wounds, this dressing delivers effective care with maximum comfort — especially for patients with sensitive or fragile skin.
How It Works
- ✅ Gentle adhesion — Sufficient tack to keep the dressing in place without damaging skin
- ✅ Pain-free removal — Minimizes trauma during dressing changes
- ✅ Open mesh design — Allows wound fluid to freely pass through to the absorbent dressing above
- ✅ Flexible and soft — Easily conforms to wound contours and body movement
- ✅ Customizable — Can be cut to fit wounds of various shapes and sizes
- ✅ Comfortable & hypoallergenic — Gentle even on delicate or elderly skin
Key Benefits
🩹 Primary Wound Protection
Forms a gentle barrier directly over the wound bed, protecting tissue while remaining breathable and non-occlusive.
💧 Unhindered Fluid Management
The open mesh allows moderate to high volumes of exudate to pass through quickly and evenly, supporting a moist healing environment.
🧩 Versatile Fit
Easily trimmed to suit different wound types and body locations. Compatible with topical treatments, hydrogels, and negative pressure wound therapy.

- Choose the right size — the dressing should extend 1–2 cm beyond the wound edge (or 5 cm for larger sizes).
- Remove the release liners and gently apply the adhesive side to the wound without stretching.
- If multiple pieces are used, overlap them slightly, ensuring the mesh holes are not blocked.
